How to travel to our office

By car from Schiphol Airport/The Hague via A4

Follow direction of Amsterdam (A4). Merge onto the Ring Amsterdam A10 WEST, direction Leeuwarden, Centrum, E22. The A10 WEST will become the A10 NOORD. Remain on it until exiting at (Afrit 1) Oostzaan / S118. At the end of this exit, you will turn right onto the Verlengde Stellingweg (S118), and then an immediate right turn again at the stoplight onto the Molenaarsweg (S118). As you drive ahead, this will become the Cornelis Douwersweg (S118). Remain straight on this road for 1.5km through a curve and a roundabout. At the second roundabout, turn right onto Softwareweg. This road will curve left to become Tt. Vasumweg. Modemstraat is the third street on the left and the building sits on the corner, facing the waterfront. Total distance from Schiphol is approximately 20km. Total distance from The Hague is approximately 47km.

By car from Utrecht (via A2)

Follow direction of Amsterdam (A2) for approximately 33km. Take exit Ring Amsterdam A10 OOST direction Leeuwarden, Centrum, E22. Exit at (Afrit 1) Oostzaan / S118. At the end of this exit you will turn left on the Verlengde Stellingweg (S118) and follow the remaining directions above. Total distance is approximately 60km.

By public transport

To reach Medialab by public transport, you will first have to get to Amsterdam Central Station. For train schedules, please refer to www.ns.nl. From Central Station, you can continue by taxi or by ferry.

From Amsterdam Central Station, take the ferry to the NDSM-werf. The ferries are free of charge and operated by GVB. At the train station, head for th rear exit marked “Noord” (North), and indicated with a boat/ferry icon. On the ferry platform, look out for the dock marked ‘NDSM-veer’. This will be the furthest to the left of the docks with the blue and white GVB-ferries.

Go to the GVB website to view the ferry timetables. The ferry takes about 15 minutes to get to the NDSM-werf. Our office is a 10-minute walk from there.

Getting to our office from NDSM is pretty easy. The main theme: Follow the IJ. When you arrive, immediately go left when you leave the boat. You can walk next to the water. Pass the IJ kantine, and keep walking in the same direction. You'll walk over a bridge towards the long building next to the water (called the Kraanspoor). When you arrive there, just turn right, and walk next to the water and keep walking. You'll arrive at a wide road, called the TT. Vasumweg. Turn left, again, next to the water. Our office is right across the street from the pier. You can see the logo on the windows.
